¡¡Hola!! ♥ Hoy me gustaría presentar mi quinta Dollfie Dream (cómo pasa el tiempo, ¿verdad?): una DDS Miki Hoshii, un molde muy especial para mí, y que he estado buscando durante más de un año. Me gusta porque me parece que transmite mucha alegría (la que más entre las cabezas de Volks, sin contar customs) y es el molde perfecto para el rol que faltaba en mi familia.

Hi there!! ♥ Today let me introduce you my fifth Dollfie Dream  (time flies, right?): a DDS Miki Hoshii, a very special head mold to me, that’s why I’ve been looking for her for more than a year. I love her because she transmits a lot of joy (she’s the happiest head from Volks, excluding customs) and she’s the perfect mold for the role that was missing in my doll family.

Como algunos sabréis, Miki Hoshii de IM@ es un personaje muy querido en Japón y en gran parte del mundo. De ahí que eso influya en su precio de venta en el aftermarket, llegando a costar fácilmente 200.000¥ (unos 1.600€) una Miki, fullset y sin estrenar, más de 3 veces su precio original. Lo sé, tengo un ojo para las muñecas «baratas»… Pero me encapriché demasiado con este molde, como me pasó años atrás con Beatrice, aún más difícil de conseguir hoy en día. En realidad sólo me importaba la muñeca en sí, ni la ropa ni el personaje de Miki me interesaban: empecé a ver IM@ en su día y, bueno, es un personaje entrañable y lleno de energía, pero no soy tan fan como para conservar su personalidad en una de mis muñecas. He buscado, negociado, participado en muchísimas pujas, de todo hasta que por fin, llegó MI puja, en YJA, y la gané. No fue fullset, tampoco era lo que quería, sino cabeza, ojos y cuerpo. Ojo con el cuerpo, que aunque no sea el suyo (un DDS busto L con torso de una pieza), el que me vino es un DDS busto M con torso de una pieza, que me encanta, y era otro plus a la hora de pujar por ella.

 

As some of you know, Miki Hoshii from IM@ is a beloved character in Japan and much of the world. That fact influences her price in the aftermarket, reaching easily ¥200,000 (about 1,600 €) for a fullset unused Miki, more than 3 times the original price. I know, I have an eye for «cheap» dolls… But I really wanted this mold, the same that happened to me years ago with Beatrice, even harder to find nowadays. Actually I only cared for the doll itself, I didn’t care neither the clothes nor Miki’s character: I started watching IM@ in the past and, well, she’s a friendly and energetic character, but I’m not such a fan to keep her personality in one of my dolls. I searched, negotiated, participated in many bids, all, and then finally arrived MY bid on YJA, so I won it. It wasn’t a fullset (anyway I didn’t want it): I won her head, eyes and body. About the body, it’s not Miki’s default (she’s originally a DDS, L bust with one piece torso), and I received a DDS body, M bust with one piece torso, which I love, and it was another plus when bidding for her.

Espectacular, ¿a que sí? >___< En comparación con el torso de dos piezas que tienen la mayoría de cuerpos, esto es una delicia para la fotografía. Además, como el material de las DD es vinilo, es decir, es flexible, sigue teniendo la misma articulación que tienen los demás cuerpos en la cintura.

Amazing, isn’t it? >___< Compared to the two pieces torso that most bodies have, this is a treat for photographers. Moreover, as DDs are made of vinyl, her torso is flexible and it still has the same joint as the other bodies at the waist.

 

 

Su personalidad aún está en proceso, pero en líneas generales, se trata de una modelo profesional (no como Melocotón, que lo hace por afición), y en sus ratos libres le encanta escuchar todo tipo de música mientras escribe en su blog sobre moda.

Pues hasta aquí mi post de bienvenida, ¿qué os ha parecido la nena? x3 yo estoy totalmente enamorada, llevaba tanto tiempo queriéndola que aún no me creo que esté en casa, jajaja, aunque creo que aún no le he encontrado el estilo perfecto para ella, tanto de ropa como de wig >__< En fin, gracias por leer y estar siempre ahí, nos vemos pronto con un nuevo post del blog, o más frecuentemente en facebook, un beso enorme!! ~ 💖

 

His personality is still in process, but overall, she’s a professional model (not as Melocotón, she’s amateur), and in her spare time, she loves listening to all kind of music while writing on her blog about fashion.
